Hi Wayne,

My daughters have been fans of yours since we first saw you perform in Mansfield, MA a few years ago. We have three of your cds on my iPod and they listen to them frequently in the car and at home and know all the words by heart. I am currently away on business in California but my wife took the kids to your show yesterday in Mansfield. She told me that our middle daughter Megan approached you before the show started and requested that you play Twinkle during the show...at which point you stopped what you were doing and played that song for her right then and there. She sent me a quick video of it from her phone, it was quite touching. I spoke to Megan on the phone just after the show and she was just bursting to tell me all about it. I just wanted to take a quick minute to say thank you for that moment you gave her and tell you how much it meant to all of us that you did that. The kids love your music because it's fun; we love it because it's good quality music for younger kids. Its a rare win/win for us and the kids. Thank you for the music you make, the care you put into your shows, and the attention you pay to your fans.

Dear Wayne & Jimmy,
I just wanted to thank you for making my grandson's day!
We had just gotten out from visiting the pediatrician's office, where Klayton(4-years old) had had to get FOUR shots! He was feeling pretty miserable.
But when he started listening to your performance, his eyes lit right up. And by the end of the hour, his mood lifted and he even ran up to dance with all the other kids who were gathered around your stage. Our spirits were lifted for the rest of the day!
THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH FOR YOUR EXCELLENT JOB WITH MUSIC FOR KIDS!!!!!
You're the greatest! I'm telling all my friends and family about you!

Love,
Donna

Thank you for your continued music and shows.
My son Aidan has a rare genetic disorder - and we spend a lot
of time going to the doctors. Thanks to your music our car
rides are more fun. We have been very in to your song 'Running
around in circles' and the song about waking up on the wrong side of the bed.

We are looking forward to seeing you play in Stratham July 8th..

Thank you!
Jen & Aidan C.

Hey there, Wayne From Maine,

This is Bo’s friend Chris (my daughter Emily and I kayaked with you a couple years ago on the mighty Saco).

I just wanted to tell you that I’ve replaced the 8” woofers in the speakers I’ve had since college, and I’m auditioning stuff like Jason Mraz, and I put on Man in the Moon, and it holds up well.

The title song is just to die for, and the second guitar in the intro breaks my heart.

Good job, man.

Chris

Hello,
I am from the Village School in Boxford. We are a preschool. My friend,
Jane Lindland from Lil'Spouts could not say enough about the wonderful
concert you did at her school in Essex. We would be interested in booking
you for a concert in October on a school night. Do you do school nights? Say
from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. on a Wednesday evening - OCtober 9th or 16th? How much
would be you fee? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Sue

Hi Wayne,

Thanks for the great concert! We ended up with front page picture on the
Windham Independent, and a small picture in the Salem Observer. I sent this
message to the children's librarians of NH listserve. We really appreciated
the great show you put on despite the heat- the kids and Moms loved it!
Thanks again, Beth

Hi there -

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your Aug 2nd performance at Stanley Park in Westfield, MA. It was our 2nd time seeing you and we got 2 new CDs which haven't seen much of a break since we got them! "One Ton Tomato" is one of new favorites!!! Here is a shot taken from that day - my daughter Duncan Reed (2 1/2 years old). Can't wait til next year - keep up the good work!

Dear Wayne,
My family attended your show in Winthrop, Maine on Wed. July 17. We also saw you in Gray at the Maine Wildlife Park with LLBean. We greatly enjoyed both shows. You are wonderful with children. You do a fantastic job getting children involved in your shows. We are always looking for things to do as a family. We had never heard of you until May of this year. Where do I get a schedule of where you will be performing? I am a 1st grade teacher in Litchfield. I would like to know what you charge to perform at a school. Thanks again for a wonderful time. Have a great day!

Sincerely,
Elley Merrifield

Dear Wayne,
My children and I are members of the Amesbury Parent Child Co-Op. Your performance today was fantastic. Thank you for such a great time. My 3 year old song is not a real singing lover. He likes to sing quietly to himself with no one else around. I bought your Man in the Moon CD today and he has been BELLOWING the songs! He sing in the restaurant at lunch and even in the mall! This is great. I am on the Board of Directors for the playgroup and will certainly support having you back again! You are a wonderful entertainer!

Sincerely,
Maureen Bateman

Hello Austin from Boston oops I mean Wayne from Maine,
My son and I really enjoyed your songs this morning. As I am writing this message my three year old son is helping me express our thanks and appreciation for you special talents. We were curious about Clark the Shark's music and printout. We were not successful at finding him on our own. Martin wants to know how we do this???? Also, I had an idea that I wanted to share with you. How about providing pencils as souveniers instead of or in addition to postcards. If you want to keep passing out postcards you're just going to have to write a song about them. The pencil song was one of the special highlights. We really enjoyed your performance this morning in Manchester and we look forward to seeing you again this summer. Take Care and keep on singing.

Thanks Linda and Martin

Hi Wayne,

We heard your song "A Moose is Loose is Mooseachusetts" on the radio the other night and fell in love with it.

Could you please tell me what CD I would find it on? Also, are the lyrics available on the web?

Thank you.

Darlene

From Kathleen, Spencer Area

My husband Doug, daughter Julia (16 months) and I saw you at the Spencer
Fair. My husband is a professional musician too, and he says you are "a
brilliant songwriter." Well, I knew that. By the way, he is too. I
particularly loved how you got the children involved, and your important
messages to children.

Hi Wayne,

P.S. My daughter(who is 3) saw you in Contoocook and Henniker and wanted to
know if you could come to our house and have a concert some time. She is so
funny. We play your music constantly throughout the day and she even
pretends that she is putting on her own concert with her stuffed animals!
Thanks for such fantastic music for kids (and adults too!!)!
Kaie (F) Hopkinton, NH

Dear Wayne,
I have a 3 year old boy & an 8 ms girl & they both LOVE your music. It's full with happy tunes and very clever songs. We first saw one of your shows at hanscom AFB 2 years ago, and we really liked it. My son Jebadiah's first request as soon as we get in the car is to play Wayne from Maine cds. Somehow your songs puts us all in a good mood...not just the kids but my husband too. Specially the one ton tomato song....keep up the GOOD WORK and Thank you for your wondrerful music.
GOD Bless,
gigi from florida. (any plans to come down south for a show?)

P.S.>Tell JimmyJames he is the ultimate in koongaboonga men. We love you guys!!

Love Your Fans, Connor and Katie

Dear Wayne,

I recently saw you in concert with my 18-month-old son in Hamden, CT and just wanted to tell you that we think your muisc is awesome. We play you CD in the car all the time, and Micah loves it! I bought a Wiggles CD last week, and their music pales in comparison to yours (I'm sorry I bought it). In fact, I enjoy listening to your CD even when the kids are not in the car! I plan on buying more of your albums very soon, as I think you write some of the best kids music around. Just wanted to let you know, Meri from Hamden

Wayne,
My name is Denny Bouchard. My friend John Wood gave me your CD to enjoy. His web site, Kidzmusic.com, is a major site of family interest. He knew I'd enjoy your stuff because I grew up in Old Town and moved to Los Angeles from the Bangor area in 1980 to continue to pursue a career in the music industry. I work as a producer, composer, and arranger for various clients, and over the years have worked (and still do) with a number of children's artists. For 12 years I toured with Noel Paul Stookey as a member of the Bodyworks Band. Through Noel I've been involved in the production of four albums with a client from Dallas who sings for kids in hospital. I've also produced 18 albums for a Christian kids artist named Mary Rice Hopkins. John Wood and I both agree that your talent is obvious and just want to encourage you in that.

John and I both enjoyed your CD a lot. The songs are well crafted, the instrumentation is quirky and fun. If the schedule you list on your website is any indication, you appear to be busy and doing well at this. I envy the fact that you seem to have found a niche for yourself without leaving home. That was something I could not manage to do. I'm done very well here in Los Angeles, but miss my beloved Maine terribly, although I must mention that it will be in the mid 70's here today.........

I have no agenda with this email other than to say hi and to encourage you in your endeavors.

Warmest regards,

Denny Bouchard

My daughter, son and myself were all at your concert in Colebrook , NH
on Monday night and I just wanted to let you know. My son is 10 and he
loved your concert. He bought the cd and is listening to it as I write
you. Thanks for what you did for the kids in our area. It was very
nice of you and Jimmy. Again many thanks.
Vicky , Samantha and Nick S.

Hi Wayne,
THANK YOU so much for your show in Hamden last night; you and Jimmy made a bunch of kids and their parents, also kids, very happy. I am so grateful that you chose Lydia to sing Four Eyes with you; she was on cloud nine and had a performer's buzz all night!!
To add icing to the cake, and only if you have time, could you email Lydia (at the above email address)? She would be so thrilled to hear from you. As you say on your website, you ARE one lucky guy. Break a leg and all that, Jane

Hi Wayne from Maine,You’re a great concert player. Thank you for letting me sing. My favorite songs are “BUGS” and “One Ton Tomato”. I want to come see you play again. Your fan, Peter (age 5)

Say hi to Jimmy James, too. I love you, Jimmy James. Paul (age 2)

Hi Wayne!
I am one of the students from the Pelham Elementary school when you did the show today. I was one of the kids that were up on stage first and I was wearing an outfit that was black with some white stripes. I just wanted to say that you did a great job! You are a cool song writer. I think that you are very creative with your songs. I also like your assistant. He's cool too! Please write back soon!
Sincerely,
Jill

Dear Wayne From Maine,
My name is Sharon W. My husband, Todd, and I have a little 2 1/2 year old boy named Hunter. He just loves you. Although it is not apparent who loves you more, him or us! We also have a little 4 month baby girl, Jamie. You may remember this past July in Meredith, NH... you saw a little baby girl and asked how old she was. Upon hearing that she was 6 weeks old, you replied, "Oh, her first Wayne from Maine concert?" and I replied, "Actually, her second!" She has now attended five!

Last night we saw you in Boscawen, NH. As usual, on the way home we were laughing while recapping all the funny and cute events throughout the show... that would be Todd and I recapping. Hunter was preoccupied with looking for all the tractors along the way home. I have to say, the end, with all those kids on stage singing, "I love you two", was by far the cutest thing I have ever seen. Thanks for all the smiles!

Hi, Wayne! Thank you again for a wonderful concert yesterday. I
have already had several requests today to have you back again, and
one mother told me they have been listening nonstop to one of your
CDs since the concert. Although I try not have the same performer
two years in a row, I think it's a safe bet that I will be contacting you to
come back again next summer! Rachel Q. Librarian.

Hello Wayne,

As I'm sitting here looking up your web site to get your schedule of

performances ( we try to go to all that we can), my son is in the other

room eating his lunch. He honestly doesn't know what I'm looking up, and

suddenly he burst out singing "One Ton Tomato"! We recently enjoyed your

shows in Rochester and at the Strawberry Festival. My son would love to

get up on stage with you and play your drum, but is just a but too shy

to go up there and raise his hand. Perhaps with a little encouragement

from mom and he'll be right up there with the rest of the kids soon! We

are throughly enjoying "Happy as a Clam" especially the fruit song...

Always looking forward to your next performance,

Kim, Adam and Molly

HI WAYNE

The night of July 12th, my two youngest children and I saw your show in

Somersworth, N.H. We had a GREAT time. My children have seen you before,

but I had never seen you. I was so glad to be able to watch them enjoy

themselves, dancing and singing, just being kids and having fun.

It was a nice treat at the end of a long day!

So once again I would like to Thank you, you did a job!

Michelle from Maine (Berwick, that is)

Wayne,

I just wanted to let you know that my children really enjoy your

tapes. We bought two in March at a Childrens Fair in Plymouth, MA. My

daughter Victoria got up and sang "Clark the toothless shark" with you and

you made her day!! She talked about it for days and played the tape

endlessly. I think they are silly and when we sing them together, I always

laugh. That is a good thing. I see you have done alot of work with Perkins

School for the Blind. Victoria used to go there and we met alot of great

people. It must be such a blessing to be in the business of making children

(and parents) smile. I want to thank you for sharing your sunshine with my

children.

May God Bless you and your family. Debi H.

Hello Wayne,

We just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much we enjoy your

music. We've got both tapes and look forward

to the third!! Some of our favorites include "Bugs Bugs Bugs", "Little red

dog" "Little peachy pony" and "plip plop".

we hope to see you live soon. Thanks for the great music.

Dear Wayne,

Thank you for taking the time to talk with me. I felt like a groupie there for a moment.

I must say that you are my favorite recording artist at this time and I'm not 3,4 or 7 yrs.

Yes, I'm an adult.

My daughter was given your tape for a present and I'm not sure who likes to listen to it more.

We think that you are by far the best children's recording artist we've heard.

You have what we need out there for children's music.

You have great lyrics that the kids can identify with not to mention the groove of your tunes.

The kids love it!!!! Need to have more kids introduced to it. So Columbia records, if you're out there, help more children receive the gift of music through Wayne from Maine!!!!!!!!!

Look forward to seeing you in concert,

Dianne, Kaitlin and Patrick

Dear Wayne,

This is Kaitlin and I'm 7 yrs. old.

I am your biggest fan!

Can I have your autograph?

I love all your songs, especially the Jungle one.

Can't wait to see you in concert and get your Man in the Moon tape.

Love, Kaitlin

Hi wayne,

my kids love your music. Evan (3 1/2) particularly likes "Baby

Blue Ball". Katherine (2) likes "One Ton Tomato.

We went to see you at Moharimet school in Madbury.

When is your next cd coming out? I have been

looking for "Moose from Moosachusetts" because the kids just went crazy for

it and were singing it for days after. I tell everyone to buy your stuff.

Your music sounds like you are really having fun.

Thanks for your gift to kids! keep it up.

Julie H.

Wayne:

My name is David S. I live in Chattanooga,TN, and I bought your "Man

in The Moon" cassette for my daughters while we were visiting my sister

in New Hampshire last week (it was on sale in a bakery near Portsmouth).

I bought it on a whim when the baker said that it was a tape of

children's songs, because I thought it might give the girls something to

do on the long drive back to Chattanooga.

Well, the songs were just wonderful! My daughters absolutely love the

tape, and each girl has her own favorite: Sierra (who is almost 10)

loves "Little Red Dog", and Autumn (8) loves my own favorite,

"Bugs,Bugs,Bugs". We all also like "One Ton Tomato". In fact, My wife

Pam and I have been kidding for years that "One Ton Tomato" was the

actual lyric to the famous Spanish song you are no doubt parodying

(though we actually used to think that the lady was singing I'll EAT A

One Ton Tomato!) Pam and I both also enjoyed picking out some of your

musical influences. We heard shades of The Beatles in "Twinkle Twinkle"

and "Man in the Moon", Herman's Hermits in "Baby Blue Ball", and even

Barry Manilow in one of the songs in which you used a key change for

dramatic effect (I can't remember which one it was). You are a very

talented musician, and this made it all the more fun for all of us.

We visited your website briefly on Sunday after we got back, but my

daughters wanted me to write you an E-mail, and this is the first chance

that I have had to do so.

Thanks again for making our trip back a lot more fun than it would have

been otherwise.

-David S.

Dear Wayne,

My mom had to type this because I'm only 3. I love your music!!!! My

grammy is Sue G., she has had you play at the Somersworth Children's

Festival and the Rochester Jaycees Night Before The Forth. I miss you very

much. I can't wait to hear you sing again. Mom sometimes hears me singing

songs like you do. I love to watch tapes on TV, you should make a movie. I

would love it!!!

Bye, Brittney P.

Hello again from Wisconsin!

I just wanted to write and let you know that your tapes are very well liked

out here. We have been enjoying "Man in the Moon" since it got here a

few weeks ago. My youngest son is scared of bugs so he likes listening

to "Bugs, Bugs, Bugs". He asks for it over and over again! Another hit

is "I Love You One" from your first tape. The kids sing it without the

music.

Thanks again for sending the tapes. Michelle

Dear Wayne,

My name is Johnny B. My friends Fred and Rosemarie L. live

next door to you and they gave me you new tape, The Man in the Moon, the other night. My brother and I love it! We heard you sing at Prescott Park last

summer and I couldn't wait to hear the new songs on tape. I like all the

songs but I really, really like One Ton Tomato. My brother Alex, he's almost

four, likes all your songs, especially Vegetables, but he says to tell you he

doesn't like vegetables to eat. I have heard you sing at the York Library and

Harvestfest too.

Bye!

Your fans, Johnny B and Alex too

 Howdy Wayne,

you did a great job at the Early childhood center on Jan. 13, 1998. The

children enjoyed listening to you. I bought two of your tapes. I can't wait to

listen to them. I am listen to them as i type this e-mail to you. Thanks again

My friends and I loved the Little Red Dog song. The dog is so cute. We had

lots of fun. A fan from West Newbury.

Hi

This is Kara from rindge! I just got back from your concert. I was the

girl who helped you pick the beads. You also let me sing a song. I

thought you were really good, and I really had a good time!

I liked the Little blue ball song and the song about the shark. My DaD

Liked the song about the pencils.

I will watch your calendar and come and see you again if you are close by.

Thanks, you were great!

Kara.

Wayne.

On my recient vaccation to Maine I was forced to listen to your first tape

"Man In The Moon" while travling with my best friends and their kids. His

older son loves that tape and can sing each song verse for verse. While in

conversation with his mother, She said to me that and I quote " You know when

you have kids. While driving you put in a Wayne From Main tape and begin to

sing the lyricks". I too found your lyricks quite catchy after the 2nd playing

and found myself tapping my foot to the beat.

I would like to purchase your tapes for my 1 year old nice.

How do I order your tapes? Can I order them over the net using a credit card?

Do you have any place in Baltimore Maryland where I can buy your tapes.

I hope you have more kids songs in the works.

Sincerely,

Alan T.

Hi Wayne,

Just wanted to drop you a note to say how much the whole family loved the

shows you did at the Childrens Festival, and at the Kids Koncert in Somersworth! My kids were

right up there against the stage (oh man... I can just see them at a rock show as teenagers! Yikes!) dancing and

singing! It was great!

(can't get "Bugs Bugs Bugs" out of my head!)

You really do a wonderful job on stage, and the tapes are terrific! The

kids love "Just another day in

the jungle" (I'm a big "Pencils" fan)!

Anyway, just wanted to congratulate you on the truly wonderful job you do.

We'll see you Best wishes to you for continued success,

Sincerely, Greg K. Somersworth

We just heard you at Market Days in Concord and you were great! Could you

add my son Alex to your mailing list. He was the last singer that came up

and sang the I love You song. His name and address is:

We just came from your concert in Meredith, NH, and we wanted to

tell you that we had a great time! We bought both tapes, and everyone sang

the whole way home. They're still yelling, "PENCILS!!"

Some of the kids in our group had seen you at Sanbornton Central

School last year, and they loved you. We've checked out your website a few

times, and that's how we knew that you'd be in Meredith.
